Hello, my name is Brandi Romines, founder of Happy As A Lark Cake Creations. Most people ask me: "How long have you been doing cakes?" and "How did you learn to make cakes?" and I always reply the same way. Having watched my mother make cakes, I guess you could say the gift was genetically passed on. HAALC began approximately fourteen years ago when my college roommate had a birthday. I decided to make a cake for her and over the years began making cakes for friends and family.
As time has gone on, and after much encouragement from my amazing husband, Shawn, and all of my friends and family, the whole cake thing seemed to fall into place. I was making more and more cakes and people seemed to truly love them. So, in March of 2009, I decided to take the leap of faith and Happy As A Lark Cake Creations was founded.
I could not do my job without the continual support of my three biggest fans: my loving husband, Shawn and my two beautiful children, Titus and Larkin. My family and friends and repeat customers always uplift me. Thank you all so very much for your encouragement...without you...HAALCC would not be possible.
